Who We Are
Cam McLean
Executive Director
Cam serves as the Executive Director of Portage Hurricanes Volleyball. He handles our corporate sponsorship, coordinates tournaments, and is our overall Program Director. Cam is also the direct contact for clubs outside of
Portage Hurricanes Volleyball.
Shasta St. Louis
Team and Camp Manager
Shasta St. Louis has taken on the role of Team and Camp Manager. She handles the administration and coach helper recruitment. She also assists in training and retention for our
Volleyball club and soccer camps.
Colin Doyle
Press Correspondent
Colin Doyle is the Hurricanes Volleyball Club Press Correspondent and tag teams our social media and website design. Colin also assists in the coordination of tournaments and handles communication with camp directors and administration.
Wes Hunter
Volleyball Camp Director
Wes Hunter has taken on the role of Volleyball Camp Director with the Portage Hurricanes Volleyball Club. Wes will work at recruiting and retaining camp helpers, coordinate the coaches and also work with the E.D. to outline expectations and goal markers of the coaches.
Adrienne Mekkes
Social Media Consultant
Adrienne is the Hurricanes Volleyball Club Social Media Consultant. She tag teams our social media and website design with Colin and also assists in the coordination of tournaments and handles communication with the camp directors and administration. Adrienne brings YEARS of social media experience!
Nick Hourie
Soccer Camp Director
Nick Hourie has taken on the role of Soccer Camp Director with the Portage Hurricanes Soccer Club which will be kicking off (no pun intended) in 2025. Nick will work at recruiting and retaining camp helpers, coordinate the coaches and also work with the E.D. to outline expectations and goal markers of the coaches.
Carmel Mulaire
School & Community Liason
Carmel is the School & Community Liason for the Portage Hurricanes Volleyball Club. She coordinates the practice allowances with the schools and assists in the scheduling of tryout and tournament dates.
Ashley McLean
Secretary
Ashley has taken on the role of Secretary for the Hurricanes Volleyball Club. She will handle the accounting and assist in website design. She will also handle the Hurricanes payment portal.
Jerri Dopson
Coach Recruitment and Retention
Jerri has taken on the role of Coach Recruitment and Retention. She will handle coach training and upgrading to make sure we comply to all NCCP standards. Jerri will also be working on referee recruitment, training and upgrading.
